Waste Categories

Overview

Waste categories classify waste for waste tracking, used by ElWaste. They support nesting, so you can group sub-categories under a parent.

Go to the Waste Categories page from the platform menu.

Click Add category to open the form.

Enter a name and, optionally, choose a parent category to nest it.

Click Save to create the waste category.

Waste categories form a nestable hierarchy, similar to Categories. Leave the parent empty to create a top-level category.

If you cannot see or create waste categories, confirm you have permission to view waste categories.
