Order History
Overview
Order History shows the finalized orders — Completed, Cancelled, Void, Refunded, and Partially Refunded (see Order Statuses). You can review any order, reprint its receipt, or refund it.
Requirements
- Logged in to the POS app
- At least one finalized order
Steps
Open Order History
Open Order History from the menu. Use the filters at the top to narrow the list by date, status, or order type.
Open an order
Tap an order to see its items, totals, payments, and full activity — including who did what and the reasons chosen.
Its actions appear at the bottom: Print, Resend to Kitchen, Refund, and Cancel.
Refund
Tap Refund, choose a refund reason, and confirm — this is permanent.
Then choose how to give the money back. You can select more than one payment method to split the refund across, and you don’t have to refund everything — type a partial amount instead. The maximum you can refund is capped at what was actually paid. Refunding everything marks the order Refunded; a partial amount, Partially Refunded. See Item Actions for refunding a single item instead of the whole order.
Cancel the whole order
A red Cancel button appears on orders that aren’t already cancelled or refunded — including Completed ones. It cancels the whole order: pick a cancellation reason (and optionally a note), with a manager approval if you don’t have the permission.
Resend to the kitchen
On a Completed order, a Resend to Kitchen button appears next to Print. It notifies the kitchen about the order again — without duplicating its items or changing its status.
If the kitchen already bumped the order (cleared it from the kitchen screen), resending won’t bring it back on the screen — but the kitchen print still prints normally.
Reprint the receipt
Use Print on the order to reprint its receipt in the format you need.
Notes
Cancelling the last item of an order from here cancels the whole order — unlike in an order you’re actively working on, where it stays open.
Troubleshooting
A recent order is missing? It may not have synced yet. Check the sync indicator and run a sync from Syncing, then refresh the list.
