General Settings
Overview
General Settings control the KDS App Notification sounds and Color Codes for in time and late orders and lagging orders. These settings apply to all stations in the brand, also you can change here the language of the KDS Admin displaying to you.

- Access to KDS Admin settings for your brand
Steps
Open General Settings
Go to General Settings in KDS Admin.
Adjust Color Codes and notification sound options
Update the Color Codes for in time and lagging and late orders and notification sound options to your preference, you can also test the notification sounds by clicking the sound button next to the volume slider. After you finish adjusting the settings, click Save to apply the changes to your stations.
Notes
General Settings apply to the brand, so changes affect every station.
Permissions for General Settings are managed in the POS Admin settings.
The KDS Admin language setting only affects the KDS Admin interface, not the KDS App.
Color Codes are Hexadecimal values like #FF5733 and when you click on the color you want to change there is a picker will appear and you can select the color you want and it will capture the value for you. You can also find it online by searching for “hex color picker” and choose the color you want and copy the hex value and paste it in the color field.
Troubleshooting
If a change does not appear on a screen, confirm you saved the settings and that the POS App is online and synced.
