Customers

Overview

Customers are your external end-customers — the people or businesses you serve. They are distinct from workspace Users, who are your internal staff. Customers are managed at the workspace level — their information is gathered here from your other apps.

Requirements

  • Permission to view customers

Steps

Open Customers

Navigate to Customers to see your customer list.

The Customers page lists your end-customers.

Add a customer

Select Add customer to open the new customer form.

Open the new customer form.

Enter the details

Enter the name and contact details.

Enter the customer's name and contact details.

Save

Select Save to create the customer.

Select Save to create the customer.

Notes

Customers are separate from Users, who are your staff. Adding a customer does not grant any access to your workspace.

Customers are global and unique per workspace. Their information is gathered from other applications, such as the Eatabill POS App.

Troubleshooting

If a customer cannot be saved, check that the required name and contact fields are filled in correctly.
