Notable changes to the Inframodern platform and its documentation.

2026-07-05

  • Built out the full Eatabill POS Application documentation with real screenshots and, where useful, video walkthroughs:
    • Device setup: corrected pairing — devices are activated with a platform-issued code, not one generated in POS Admin — and documented connecting a SubPOS, including its hardware/software split for the cash drawer and printer setup videos.
    • Business Day: starting and ending the day, the active-orders block on End Day, the End Day confirmation dialog, and the SubPOS “Day Management Restricted” state.
    • Taking Orders, Order Actions, Item Actions: the full sidebar flow, the More menu (cancel, discount, voucher, compliment, fees, print, note, hold, change type/channel), and item-level actions split by Live vs. History mode — including the Cancel vs. Refund distinction for paid orders.
    • Order Statuses: all nine statuses with real Order Activity logs showing Void vs. Cancelled and Completed vs. Refunded.
    • Active Orders, Order History, Payment: working vs. final statuses, refunding and cancelling from history, resending to the kitchen, and the full payment flow (split payments, partial amounts, Order Activity log).
    • Manager Approvals: the responsible-user approval flow for protected actions.
    • Reports, Syncing, Cash Drawer: navigating through the hamburger menu, reading multi-business-day reports, automatic vs. manual sync, and opening the cash drawer via a connected printer.
    • Settings: General (language, app updates), Security (change password), Printers (IP-based, per-format), KDS and SubCashier (both MainPOS-only, devices requested and assigned from POS Admin), and Saved Users.
  • Mirrored every page into Arabic.
  • Removed the Status link from the navbar and footer.
  • Simplified the site to a single dark theme; the theme switcher is disabled for now.

2026-06-28

  • Expanded the Eatabill POS Admin Orders guides with step-by-step instructions and real screenshots: Order Channels, Discounts, Promo Codes, Reasons, Fees, and Taxes.
  • Added the per-location flow for Order Channels and the per-menu / per-order-type flow for Fees.
  • Documented the full Taxes configuration: product, delivery-zone, and fee tax tabs, tax calculation (additive vs. inclusive), and tax exemptions.
  • Translated all of the above into Arabic and refreshed the English copy for clarity.

  • 🎉 Launched the new Inframodern documentation platform.
  • Added Platform guides: Organizations, Users, Locations, Billing.
  • Added product sections for Eatabill, ElWaste, ShiftBill, and Trustree.
