Variation Values
Overview
Variation values are the individual options that make up a variation type — such as Big, Small, Original, or 3 Pcs. Each value can be linked to an Option (a variation type like Size or Type). In the app this page is Option Values.
Variation values and Variation Types are linked, and you can connect them from either side: assign a value to its type here using the Option field, or attach values to a type on the Variation Types page. Either way, the type must already exist to select it.
Requirements
- Permission to view variations
- Permission to create variations
- To link a value to a type, that type already created in Variation Types
Steps
Open Variation Values
Open Options from the sidebar. The list shows each value’s Value Code, Value Title, the Option Title it belongs to, and its Status.
Add a value
Select Add Value in the top-right.
Fill in the details
In the Add Option Value form:
- Language (required) — the language you’re entering the title in (English or Arabic).
- Value Code (optional) — a code for the value.
- Value Title (optional) — the value itself, e.g. Small.
- Option (optional) — the variation type this value belongs to (see next step).
Choose the option type
Open Option and pick the variation type this value belongs to — for example Size, Type, or No. of Pcs. Only types already created in Variation Types appear in this list.
Save
Click Save to create the variation value. It appears in the list under its option type.
Notes
Don’t see the type you need in the Option list? Create it on the Variation Types page first, then come back and link the value here.
Troubleshooting
If you cannot see or create variation values, confirm you have permission to view and create variations.
