Station Settings
Overview
Station Settings control how each station’s screen looks and reads. Set them per station so every screen suits the people working at it — for example a list layout on a small screen or Arabic for a station that prefers it. The bottom of the Settings screen also holds the In-app updates card — see App Updates.

Steps
Open Settings
Open Settings from the KDS app.
Choose the station
Pick the station whose display you want to change. The screen switches to that station’s saved language straight away.
Set the layout
Under Choose System Layout, pick grid (masonry) or list, depending on the screen and how many orders you handle at once.
Set the language
Under Choose Language, pick English or Arabic.
Toggle Show customer name
Under Order Card, turn Show customer name on or off depending on whether your station needs the customer’s name on each card. By default, the customer name doesn’t show.
Save
Tap Save. The button stays grey until you change something, and shows Saving… while it saves. The new layout, language and card settings apply once saving finishes.
Notes
Settings apply to the chosen station only, so each screen can have its own layout, language and card details.
Station settings are stored on this KDS screen. They aren’t changed by the POS or by syncing, so they stay as you set them until you change them here.
The station you pick is shared across Open, History and Settings, and the screen remembers it after a restart.
Troubleshooting
Language or layout didn’t change? Make sure you tapped Save — changes only apply after saving.
