Station Settings

Overview

Station Settings control how each station’s screen looks and reads. Set them per station so every screen suits the people working at it — for example a list layout on a small screen or Arabic for a station that prefers it.

Requirements

The KDS paired to the POS — see Pairing
At least one station set up in Stations

Steps

Open Settings

Open Settings from the KDS app.

Choose the station

Pick the station whose display you want to change.

Set the layout

Set the layout to grid (masonry) or list, depending on the screen and how many orders you handle at once.

Layout options: grid/masonry or list — Pick a grid (masonry) or list layout.

Set the language

Set the language to English or Arabic. The screen switches instantly.

Language switch between English and Arabic — Switch the language; it applies instantly.

Toggle Show Customer Name

Turn Show Customer Name on or off depending on whether your station needs the customer’s name on each card, by default customer name doesn’t show.

Show Customer Name toggle — Show or hide the customer name on cards.

Notes

Settings apply to the chosen station only, so each screen can have its own layout, language and card details.

Troubleshooting

No stations to choose? Make sure stations are set up in Stations and that the screen is paired — see Pairing.
