Fees

Overview

Fees are extra charges added to an order, such as a service fee. Create them once and apply them per menu for a specific order type.

Requirements

  • Permission to view fees

Steps

Open Fees

From the sidebar, go to Orders → Fees.

Add a fee

Click the Add New Fee button to open the form.

Set the title and code

Enter a title and a code.

Save

Click Save to add the fee.

Apply it per menu and order type

Choose the menu and order types the fee applies to.

From the sidebar, go to Products → Menus.

Select the menu you want to apply the fee to

Click on the menu you want to apply the fee to.

Click on the Menu you want to apply the fee on.

After clicking, it opens the selected menu’s details page.

You can see the fees section.

From here you can enable it for a specific order type by checking the order type.

Add another fee on the same menu

You can add more than one fee on the same menu, and also on the same order type.

Note that this form is select-only, so you must first create a fee on the Fees page before you can select it here.

Notes

A fee is only added on the POS for the menus and order types you apply it to.

Troubleshooting

If a fee is missing on an order, confirm it is applied to that Menu and order type, and that the device has synced.

Can’t find a fee when applying it to a menu and order type? Confirm it has been created on the Fees page.
