Delivery Zones
Overview
A delivery zone consists of areas. You create a zone (with a title and city), add the areas it covers, then assign the zone to a location with its delivery fee. When taking a delivery order, the customer’s zone and area determine the delivery fee shown on the order.
Requirements
- Permission to view delivery zones
Steps
Add a delivery zone
Open Locations → Delivery Zones, then click the Add New Delivery Zone button.
Name the zone
In the modal, type the title and city — for example “Zone 60” and “New Cairo”.
Create
Click Create to add the zone.
Open the zone details
Click the zone’s row in the table to open its details page. Here you’ll find the zone data and, below it, the areas section. You can also edit the zone data from this page.
Add areas
Scroll to the areas section and add the areas the zone covers.
Click Add New Area
Name the area
In the modal, type the area title — for example “Al Sadat Axis” — and click Save.
Repeat for every area the zone covers.
Assign the zone to a location with a fee
Go to the Locations page, click the location’s row, scroll to the delivery zones section, and click Add New Delivery Zone. In the modal, select the zone you created, type its delivery fee, and click Save.
Notes
Once the location syncs the new data, the POS App can use the zone. When you create a Delivery order and enter the customer’s information with their zone and area, the delivery fee appears on the order sidebar.
The delivery fee is set per location — the same zone can have a different fee at different locations.
Troubleshooting
No delivery fee on an order? Confirm the zone is assigned to the location with a fee, the customer’s zone and area are selected, and the POS device has synced.
A zone isn’t available at a location? Confirm it has been added to that location from the Locations page.
